Cosmodôme, Laval, Quebec

For the Cosmodome, a science museum dedicated to space exploration in Laval (Quebec), Ikoï Studio and Graphic eMotion have developed four multimedia installations:
Rover Pilot: A 3D runner-style game where visitors pilot a rover using facial motion tracking.
Create Your Planet: A question-and-answer experience where visitors design their own planet based on chosen features. The resulting 3D planet is displayed through a porthole in the museum and can be downloaded via QR code.
Augmented Video Mapping: An interactive augmented reality layer reveals 3D visualizations of space objects featured in a projection mapping film.
Interactive Welcome Hologram: A 3D holographic guide interacts with visitors through a question-and-answer interface at the museum entrance.
Harnessing innovative technologies, these installations promote a playful and interactive approach to science. Aligned with the Cosmodome’s mission, the space supports experiential learning in an immersive environment. Designed for both school groups and families, the installations offer shared, collaborative interactions—inviting all visitors to enjoy discovering space exploration and scientific culture.
